Flex Developer
Lime Wire LLC, maker of the famous file-sharing program, seeks an experienced FLEX DEVELOPER to develop and maintain real time reporting systems and applications written in Flex, PHP and MySQL.
There is no requirement for video/audio/animations, etc. This position will deal with a lot of data visualization and presentation challenges. Eye candy, and front end design is our priority.
Responsibilities
• Develop customer and internal facing applications
• Develop reporting system front end to provide information to the business and develop graphical representations of data
• Support business needs and translating production numbers into business driving data sets
• Ideal candidate should not only be able to maintain and write great code, but must understand how to translate business problems into practical solutions
Requirements
• 1-2 years experience integrating Flex with data services to access back-end data
• Experience with PHP, MySQL, Javascript, AJAX, HTML
• Experienced in user experience design and user interfaces
• Must be able to understand and use development frameworks
• Must be able to work as part of a team
• Must have excellent communication and analytical capabilities
• Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and data structures
